Austin Lane Vielle, the 21-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing three people in a Lethbridge townhouse in April, faces additional charges of sexual assault and sexual contact.

The new charges were unveiled on Thursday morning during Vielle’s appearance in a Lethbridge court room. Vielle’s case has been postponed until July 8, 2015.

In the early hours of April 28, 2015, the bodies of Kyle Divine, Clarissa English, and Dakota English were located in a townhouse in the 200 block of McGill Boulevard West.

Nearly two weeks after the grisly discovery, Lethbridge Regional Police arrested and charged Vielle, an associate of the deceased, with three counts of second degree murder. Police believe Vielle had spent time with the victims in the hours prior to their deaths and the fatal attack was targeted.

Details pertaining to the date and location of the sexual assault have not been confirmed.
