The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a woman in the Mission area in southwest Calgary.
Sunday, approximately 12:30 p.m. police were called to a home on Holy Cross Lane S.W.
Police say the received multiple calls including one caller who thought there had been a stabbing.
When the police arrived they found the body of a woman in her 40’s.
One man is in custody. Police say the woman and the man in custody know each other.
Police aren’t saying how the woman died. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
