The family of Gordon Kennedy made his struggle public to raise awareness of children’s cancers.
Gordon was born on Valentine’s Day, but was quickly diagnosed with a type of brain cancer usually found in adults. His health deteriorated and he passed away on Friday afternoon.
His parents started a GoFundMe campaign with all proceeds going to the Brain Tumour Foundation. They are asking people to light a candle for Gordon at 9 p.m. tonight, when he would have been 7 weeks old, and share a picture in his name.
