Police are looking for a male suspect involved in what they’re calling a suspicious incident in northeast Calgary on Thursday morning.
At about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, police were called to a home in the 300 block of 15 Avenue N.E.
A woman who lives there told police that she was inside her home when she looked out her window to check on her son.
She was alarmed when she spotted an unknown man speaking with the boy and attempting to lure him away from the home.
The mother went outside immediately, interrupting them, and then grabbed her son and took him inside.
Police who attended the scene couldn’t find any trace of the suspect.
He is described as:
- Caucasian
- 5’10”
- Heavy build
- Brown hair
- Scruffy gray beard
The woman says he was wearing a black t-shirt and had a deep voice.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
