Officials say that anyone who may have been in two southwest Calgary eateries may have been exposed to the measles virus that has been confirmed in two patients.

Alberta Health Services released details on Thursday about the two cases, both are students at Western Canada High School.

They say that it is not just students and teachers at risk of coming in contact with the disease, but the workplaces of the students or their friends as well.

AHS says that anyone at the National Pub Westhills on March 24 and 25 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and anyone at the Cibo restaurant on 17 Avenue S.W. on March 29 and 30 between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. may have been exposed.

"So if they have been exposed and they are not immune, then they should monitor their health for symptoms of measles," says Dr. Judy Macdonald with AHS.

All students and staff at Western Canada High School who haven't been immunized against measles have been sent home until April 21.

The Calgary Board of Education says they will help students make up the days they have to miss.
