Emergency crews were deployed to the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir after a dead body was located by a passerby Thursday afternoon.
The body of an unidentified man was discovered at approximately 4:40 p.m. on the eastside of the reservoir near Glenmore Trail and 14 St. S.W..
The Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Team has recovered the body. The age of the deceased has not been released.
A police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death is underway.
