One woman is in police custody following a daylight stabbing near the intersection of 12 Ave. and 1 St. S.W.
According to police, a man, believed to be around 40 years old, was stabbed with a knife early Friday afternoon.
The stabbing victim was transported to the Foothills Medical Centre by ambulance in serious, non-life threatening condition.
Officers identified and apprehended a female suspect. The unidentified woman remains in custody and has not been charged.
Police continue to investigate the attack.
