Calgary police are searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place on Wednesday evening.
At about 7:30 p.m., police were called to the community of Westgate for reports of gunfire.
When they got there, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say a bloody boot and a towel was found at the scene.
Officers are canvassing the area, but have no suspects so far.
