Provincial Court back in business

Calgary Provincial Courts is back in full operation and has rescheduled court dates for those people affected by the massive flooding that shut down a large part of the downtown last month.

Officials say people who were unable to attend matters that were scheduled in court during the week of June 21 – June 28 should refer to the instructions below:

Calgary Provincial Criminal Court

If your matter was scheduled for any of the following court dates:

• Friday June 21st
• Monday June 24th
• Tuesday, June 25th
• Wednesday, June 26th
• Thursday, June 27th
• Friday, June 28th

And you (or your lawyer or an agent) were unable to attend, then your matter was automatically adjourned to Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 507. Failure to appear on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, may result in a summons or a warrant for your arrest.
