Members of the Airdrie Rural RCMP detachment have released composite sketches of two men responsible for a Monday morning break-and-enter at a residence outside of Airdrie city limits.

According to RCMP, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a man was driving near the home of an elderly relative on Township Road 270 when he noticed two unfamiliar vehicles on the property. The man approached one of the home’s windows and observed a man rummaging through cabinets.

The man caught the attention of the suspect and an altercation ensued. A second male suspect exited the home and threatened the man with a screwdriver.

The two suspects fled the scene in one vehicle, abandoning the second vehicle on the property.

RCMP attended the home and seized the abandoned vehicle.

The vehicle the suspects fled in has been recovered but the two men have not been located.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Approximately 25-years-old
  • 178 cm (5’10”) tall
  • 82 kg (180 lbs)
  • Having a round, clean shaven face
  • Short dark brown hair in a bowl-cut hairstyle
  • Having dark brown or black eyes

The second suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Approximately 25-years-old
  • 180 cm (5’11”) tall
  • 54 kg (120 lbs)
  • Slim build
  • Having a skinny, drawn out face with bloodshot eyes
  • Bleached blond hair styled in a Mohawk
