Police have officially charged two youths in connection to the murder of Gabriel Okeynan outside a northeast mall at the end of June.

Okeynan,45, was found suffering from stab wounds outside Marlborough Mall on Friday, June 20 just before midnight and died four days later in hospital.

A 16-year-old was charged with robbery a few days later and a 13-year-old was arrested in connection to the case on Wednesday, June 25.

Both youths have now officially been charged with second-degree murder and police say they are not looking for any other suspects in the case.

Investigators say they believe it was a random incident and the motive was robbery.

The teens can't be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and both remain in custody.
