The man accused of killing a mother and her son in their Evanston home in May is now facing additional charges of sexual assault.

Guevara Wilson Clorina is now facing charges for sexual assault and sexual interference with a minor.

The 23-year-old is already behind bars for the murder of Chona Manzano and her son Gabrial.

They were brutally stabbed to death on May 16, 2013 in their Evanston home.

Clorina is an extended family member, but didn't live at the home.

He was back in court on Monday and that's when the new charges were laid.

He is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and will be back in court at the end of the month.
