Regina police have tracked down the last known address of a Calgary man who suffered horrendous injuries.

The alleged victim was reported missing for months before being dumped at a Regina hospital close to death.

He had been severely beatened and possibly tortured.

The landlord at the apartment building says he rented a suite to a man claiming to be the alleged vicitm in March.

Neighbours tell CTV News they frequently complained about the noise and even recorded some of the disturbing sounds.

"I called the landlord and I told him I had this recording," says Dann McKenzie. "He said he spoke to the guy upstairs and then it got quiet, it did, it really got better... so I dropped it."

The alleged victim was reported missing in January. He was barely recognizable when he was dumped at the hospital on April 16.

Regina police are investigating but haven't released any details or named any suspects.
