Anyone who uses the Chinook LRT as part of their daily commute will need to look for an alternate route to work.
Trains will no longer be stopping at the station for about eight months so crews can complete upgrading work on the station.
Part of the improvements includes extending the platform to accommodate for the new, four-car trains.
Transit will be setting up shuttle service between a temporary terminal and 39 Ave. Station, the next nearest LRT stop.
Officials estimate this will add about ten minutes to the journey of anyone who regularly uses Chinook.
