The issue of doctor intimidation is back on Alberta's political radar.
The NDP, Liberals, and Wildrose are all promising comprehensive investigations into the issue.
The PC's admit doctors were bullied under their watch but spending $20-million to investigate it further is not in the party's plans.
On Saturday, flanked by first responders at the STARS headquarters in Calgary, Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith criticized the PC response. "We will deliver on a full public healthcare inquiry to put an end to doctor intimidation and cue jumping," says Smith.
The Tories say the issue is being dealt with by the Health Quality Council of Alberta.
"It's another broken promise by the Redford government…you can't count on the PC's to stand up for our healthcare," says Brian Mason.
The PC's say Redford is keeping her promise and, if elected, they are promising to fix the issue of doctor intimidation.
