Fire crews attended the scene of a house fire late Tuesday night, but found there wasn't much they could do to save it.

At about 11 p.m. Tuesday night, fire crews received a call about a house fire on Calgary's east end.

When they arrived at the scene on Malvern Way, they found a fully involved house fire that at spread to both the upper and lower floors of the home.

Fire crews faced hard work bringing the blaze under control due to intense heat and smoke inside.

No one was inside the house and no one was injured.

Investigators are working to find the cause of the blaze.
