Lethbridge police say they have captured a prisoner who escaped.

Sean Horvath was part of a minimum-security work crew operating in the Legacy area in north Lethbridge on Tuesday, but police say he "fled from custody."

Police announced Wednesday evening they had located and arrested Horvath.

"Horvath will be returned to the Correctional Centre. The public is thanked for their assistance," police said in a release.
