Dallyn Nicholas disappeared from Calgary on Tuesday.  The 23-year-old emptied his bank account and likely went in search for food.

Nicholas has the genetic disorder Prader-Willi Syndrome.  His body is unable to tell him when he's eaten enough.  Without supervision, it is possible for Nicholas to dangerously overeat.  At home his mother locks the pantry.

Dallyn has run away before, but never for this long.

“Usually he'll surface at a restaurant where he's ordered a bunch of food and hasn't had the money to pay for it,” says his mother, Kim Nicholas.

Dallyn is pre-diabetic and requires daily medication.  The family has filed a missing person’s report.

Any one with information on Dallyn’s whereabouts is asked to contact police.
