The manhunt is still on for Calgarian Ryan Jenkins and a $25,000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to his capture.
The 32-year-old has been charged with murder in connection to the death of Jasmine Fiore.
Fiore's body was found on Saturday in Buena Park, California. She was strangled, her fingers and teeth removed, stuffed into a suitcase and dropped into a dumpster. She was identified through the serial number on her breast implants.
Police now believe Jenkins is back in Canada.
On Thursday morning, Jenkins' vehicle was found along with a boat trailer at a marina near Blaine, Washington. The sheriff's office in Bellingham, Washington believes the 32-year-old abandoned his boat and walked across the border into British Columbia.
Jenkins is a former Calgary realtor and investor. He left Calgary earlier this year to appear on a reality television show in Los Angeles.
The District Attorney's office in Orange County says Jenkins faces a maximum sentence of 25 years, to life, in state prison if he's convicted.
U.S. authorities say anyone who helps Jenkins flee from authorities could also be charged.
