Planning is underway for a memorial for the three victims of the Claresholm murder-suicide and Shayna Conway's recovery progress in Lethbridge later in January.
On December 15, Derek Jensen gunned down Tabitha Stepple, Mitch Maclean, Tanner Craswell, and Shayna Conway before turning the gun on himself.
Conway was shot three times, but survived and is recovering in a Calgary hospital.
Mitch and Tanner, both originally from PEI, were attending the Prairie Baseball Academy in Lethbridge.
Tabitha lived in Lethbridge herself.
The group was on their way to Calgary to see both young men to a flight back to their native Prince Edward Island for Christmas when they were stopped by Jensen.
The memorial is planned for January 14 at the Enmax Centre and will begin at 3 p.m.
It will be open to the public and will also stream online so people in PEI and across Canada can watch.
