Colder and snowier weather is on its way for part of the weekend. A Low in Montana will feed snow into Alberta from the southeast, generating an upslope flow. For Calgary, it'll mean 5-10 cm of snow starting Saturday afternoon, and ending before sunrise Sunday. Higher amounts are expected in the foothills. The sky clears Sunday, and it will be rather cold during the day, with the high of -3 not reached until the evening. Notcturnal flurries are possible Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday, a chinook will develop, and it may stick around for a couple of days.
