Another luxury condo tower is going up in downtown Calgary.
According to the Calgary Real Estate Board a luxury condo is one that costs a million dollars or more.
The board reports demand for the luxury homes is growing.
One of the newest luxury condo complexes is called “Twelve” and will be built in the Mission district in southwest Calgary.
The complex will only have 12 condos and each condo unit takes up one floor.
The price per unit ranges between $ three and $ six million.
2013 was a record year for luxury condo sales.
The Calgary Real Estate Board said over 70 condos, priced at over a million dollars, were sold.
The board expects the trend to continue this year.
