Pedestrian struck by vehicle in northwest Calgary
One person was transported to hospital after getting hit by a car in northwest Calgary early Saturday evening.
It took place around 6 p.m. in the area around Country Village Road and Country Village Link.
Witnesses say a car clipped a pedestrian.
Police say a man in his 70s was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The intersection was taped off for hours while the traffic reconstruction team investigated.
