Calgary police are looking for new tips in an old murder case.

They are hoping that a re-enactment of the beating death of Mark Mariani might prod someone to come forward with new information.

Recently, investigators are released photos of two men who are believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Police know they are not suspects, but still seek to speak with them.

The first is described as an Asian male, in his late 30s or early 40s who was driving a dark-coloured sedan, possibly a Nissan Sentra.

The second is described as a Caucasian male, early 30s, wearing black sweatpants with a white stripe down the leg and a blue or black, white and red shirt with a white ‘O' on the front.

Mariani's body was discovered Oct. 3, 2010, in a parking lot on 16 Avenue N.W.

Police believe he was assaulted in an alley and then staggered to his vehicle in the parking lot where he collapsed and died.

Investigators believe the attack may have been random.
