Police investigating suspicious death in southeast Calgary

Calgary Police are continuing to investigate after a woman's body was found inside a vehicle in the southeast early Wednesday morning.

Police and EMS say they were called to the area at about 4:40 a.m. for reports of the woman's body.

The Medical Examiner and the CPS Homicide Unit has been called to the scene.

Investigators are currently speaking with a man associated with the vehicle.

An autopsy will be conducted on the body, but the date and time has not yet been confirmed.
