Calgary police are looking for a group of men who they say are suspects in the savage sexual assault of a woman who was held against her will in a home.

In the early morning of September 27, a woman was leaving a bar in the 1800 block of 35 Street S.E. when she was approached by a man.

The man grabbed and pulled her into a white SUV that was parked outside. The vehicle then sped away from the area in an unknown direction.

Police say the woman was taken to a house where she was sexually assaulted by a group of three men.

She was able to leave in the morning, contacting the police later on.

Staff Sergeant Bev Voros with the CPS Sex Crimes Unit says the victim was cleared by the hospital, but did suffer some injuries in addition to the sexual assault.

"When she was taken from the bar by force, she was taken in a vehicle, she was taken to a residence, and she was sexually assaulted three different times by three different males. She was taken from the bar at around closing time, about 2 a.m. She called us for help at approximately 9 the next morning, so it was approximately a six hour period."

She says that the method by which the woman escaped is still under investigation so no details will be released at this time.

Investigators say the suspects are between the ages of 25 and 60 and appeared to speak Spanish to one another during the encounter.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information about the people involved are asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
