Calgary police are warning the public about the release of an inmate into the Calgary area on Monday.
Jack Samuel Froese, 28, has served a 3 and a half year sentence in federal prison for sexual assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or harm.
Police say Froese previously sexually assaulted and threatened to kill a woman who was not known to him and also sexually assaulted a woman that was known to him.
Jack Froese is 1.8 Metres or 5'10" tall, 84 Kg or 185 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Calgary Police Service decided to issue the warning after careful consideration of privacy concerns and believe that it is clearly in the public's interest to inform members of the community.
Police want members of the public to know that the intent of the process is to allow members of the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante action.
