A public inquiry looking into allegations of queue jumping is set to begin in the province on Monday,
The inquiry, announced back in February, will look into allegations that some Albertans got preferential treatment.
Reports from the Health Quality Council of Alberta say some patients were moving up on waiting lists to see specialists or undergo surgery.
Critics say the $10M inquiry should focus on alleged intimidation and bullying, and mismanagement in the system.
Two weeks have been set aside for hearing in Edmonton.
Hearings in Calgary are expected next month.
Once the inquiry wraps up, the findings will be delivered to the speaker of the legislative assembly in April.
