Members of the Milk River RCMP detachment are asking for public assistance in locating a 74-year-old man from Tennessee who was last seen on August 16, 2014.
Jackie (Jack) Dean Caldwell left his home in Mount Juliet, Tennessee on August 12, 2014, as he embarked on a 6,800 kilometre motorcycle ride to Fairbanks, Alaska.
According to the RCMP, Caldwell entered Canada on Saturday, August 16 at the Coutts border crossing. The missing senior had been in contact with his family throughout his trip but his family has not heard from him since he entered Alberta.
Caldwell is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Clean cut
- Approximately 188 cm (6’2”) tall
- Weighing 82 kg (180 lbs)
- Short grey hair
- Blue eyes
- Wearing eyeglasses
- Wearing a white helmet
Caldwell’s motorcycle is described as:
- A black, 1997 Goldwing tri-wheel
- Tennessee licence plate ZB0984
- With a Greyhound bus logo decal on the back
Caldwell was towing a Bushteck trailer with a Tennessee licence plate.
