Westerly wind will continue the plunge over the Rockies for a few more days. Even Saturday has a lovely initial burst of warmth, but warm fronts always precede the cold fronts. Late in the afternoon, we'll experience a hasty drop in temperature that should start with a good dose of rain before converting to flurries. That snow will be off-and-on for a couple of days.
