Don't let anyone tell you the weather is always better on the west coast! A big storm system in the Pacific will lash the coast with major wind and rainfall over the next few days. The wind that carries across BC and into Alberta, from the same storm, will provide us with warm chinook breezes for the next couple of days. Wind in Calgary should gust to 40 km/h tonight and tomorrow, with temperatures rising to the high single digits on Friday. The weekend will remain sunny, though temperatures will drop back a bit.
