Temperatures will begin a long slide starting Wednesday. We should stil make it to the melting point Wednesday, and then go into a period of sub zero temperatures that will last well into next week. Arctic air replaces the mild Pacific air that has kept us warmer than average since December. We expect, though, that temperatures will stay above -20, even at night, for the next 5 to 7 days.
