Calgary police are investigating a Friday night hit-and-run that took the life of a 22-year-old pedestrian.
The collision happened on Macleod Trail just north of 4 Ave (near the Harry Hays building) at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The woman suffered a broken pelvis and broken leg, injuries which contributed to her death.

According to police, a light colored, two door Jeep with a dark top is believed to be involved. The Jeep may have sustained damage to the front passenger side.
