The flags at a number of provincial and civic buildings will fly at half-mast in honour of Cpl. Nathan Frank Cirillo and the two soldiers who were killed in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec on Monday.

The flags at the Alberta Legislature will fly at half-mast on October 23 and 24 and the premier says he has also asked for the flags to be lowered at Government House in Edmonton, McDougall Centre in Calgary, the Alberta Sheriff’s Training Academy in Edmonton and at provincial correctional facilities across Alberta.

The flags in front of Calgary’s Municipal Building were also flying at half-mast on Thursday morning in honour of the fallen soldiers.
