Fire crews were called out to a fire in the northeast that spread from the garage and gutted the home.
The fire started in the garage and quickly spread to the home in the 100 block of Bedford Dr. N.E. and a second alarm was called in.
The house and garage were destroyed and crews hosed down the neighbouring homes to keep the fire from spreading any further.
Two fire fighters were injured when the roof collapsed and were treated at the scene.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
