Banff RCMP and Parks Canada are searching for a man who failed to return from a hiking trip in the park last week.
Ralph Greenaway, 40, told friends he was going to the Mount Rundle area for the day and was reported missing to RCMP on Tuesday, September 2.
Friends say Greenaway is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
His vehicle was found near Mount Rundle but he has not been located despite a ground and air search of the area by search and rescue crews.
Searchers were back out on Monday combing the area but have been hampered by bad weather.
Ralph Greenaway is described as:
- 185 cm tall
- About 85 kg
