A senior citizen has been transported to the South Calgary hospital after the vehicle she was riding in slammed into a Humpty’s restaurant Thursday afternoon.

According to police, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the driver of a car appeared to use the accelerator instead of the brakes while parking in a lot in the 4900 block of 130 Ave. S.E.  The vehicle jumped the parking block and smashed through the windows of the Humpty’s restaurant.
