Casablanca video, may be forced to shut its doors, if it does not make up a short fall in revenue.

The oldest video rental store in Calgary is on the move once again, or is it?

The question is, will it relocate or will all the movies be sold off and the business closed?

34 years ago, the late Jon Lord opened Casablanca Video in Marda Loop and after his death last year, his wife Sheryl Guillaume, kept the business going.

Guillaume moved the video store to 9136 Macleod Trail S.E., but business has been slow and she has used all her savings to keep the store afloat.

She is hoping to find a location that is not as expensive as her current spot, but if that doesn’t happen she will have to shut the business down all together.

You can help out by renting a video, until March, 14th, or by offering up a spot for the store.

If there is not enough funds to make the move, the DVD’s will be packed up and stored.

Guillaume says the collection, the largest in North America, will then be sold to a university or private collector.
