Calgary police are asking the public for help to locate a local businessman who has been missing for over a week.
Police say family and friends of 54-year-old Michael Gardner last spoke to him on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 and he has not been seen or heard from since.
Police say they are concerned for his welfare. His cousin says judging by the way Gardner left his home it's as if "he was leaving for a long time".
Dominique Gregoire is pleading for her cousin to contact his family and says "just come back and we'll help you".
They believe he may have headed west out of Calgary in his black, 2006 Volvo XC70 with Alberta plate EUA383. Gardner is considered an avid outdoorsman.
Gardner is described as:
- Caucasian
- 185 cm or 6’1” tall
- About 95 Kg or 210 lbs.
- Shaved head
- Brown eyes
