A sex assault charge has been laid after an incident in a Parkhill home.
Police were called to a home in the 200 block of 42 Avenue Southwest around 5:30 a.m. December 8 after two women reported they were being held against their will.
Officers surrounded the house and later several people came out and surrendered to police.
Investigators say the women showed up at the home to meet an acquaintance.
A man is now accused of sexually assaulting one of the women while they were inside.
Twenty-two year old James Etienne of Quebec has been charged.
