Police have arrested a man in Toronto for a homicide that happened in Calgary three years ago and are looking for a second suspect.

Police were called out to respond to reports of gunshots fired near 18 Ave. and 4 St. S.W. on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at about 2:30 a.m.

When officers arrived they found an injured man seated in a black BMW, that was stopped in the northbound curb lane of the 1700 block of 4 Street S.W.

The man was treated by EMS and taken to hospital but died later from his injuries.

The victim was identified as 33-year-old Nima (David) Tajali.

Investigators believe Tajali and a passenger were ambushed after leaving the BLVD Lounge which was just north of the scene of the shooting.

On Thursday, police arrested Mohammed Parwaz, Mali inToronto.

Mali is charged with first-degree murder and attempt to commit murder in connection to the murder of Tajali.

Police have issued warrants for a second man in relation to this incident.

Ahmed A M Zaghloul, 27, is wanted for charges of first-degree murder and attempt to commit murder.
