Roland Chin, a gang member who served 32 months in police custody, is now back in jail after being pulled over driving a stolen vehicle.

Chin was pulled over in a Cadillac Escalade that police say was fraudulently purchased and the VIN number changed so it could be re-sold.

Police don't know if Chin knew of the vehicle's history, but say that when they searched it, they found a handgun under the hood.

He remains in custody and will appear in court on July 6.

Chin was arrested after police found him and his brother, Roger, with drugs and a loaded gun.

Roland and Roger were both members of a Calgary street gang.

Roger was killed in a drive by shooting in July 2008.

Roland Chin was also arrested in August 2009 after police stopped the 25 year old near his home and he was found wearing a bulletproof vest, carrying a folding knife and a cell phone.
