Calgary police have arrested and charged a man in connection with harassing two women near two shopping centres.

Police, in coordination with the Domestic Conflict Unit Habitual Offender Management and Enforcement (HOME) team, arrested the man at a northwest location.

They say that he is charged in connection with a number of incidents starting in April 2013, where he followed and harassed two adult females around the Northland Village Mall and Market Mall areas.

Steven Molnar, 42, is charged with:

  • Three counts of criminal harassment
  • Two counts of possession of stolen property
  • 12 counts of breach of probation

Molnar is currently in police custody and will appear in court on October 16.
