A 911 call was played in a Calgary courtroom on Tuesday at the murder trial of a 63-year-old Sundre woman charged with killing her husband.

Heather Wilson-Duncan is accused of murdering her husband Barry Duncan, 68, in December of 2010.

She told investigators that they were fighting and at one point her husband went into the basement and came back with a weapon.

She was charged with second-degree murder and released on bail.

In the emotional 911 call, Wilson-Duncan can be heard repeatedly telling dispatchers "I just killed my husband".

She repeatedly tells the dispatcher to send help quickly, that the shooting was an accident and that she didn’t think the gun was loaded.

Wilson-Duncan’s lawyer says that doesn't make Barry Duncan's death a murder and they will be looking to have her acquitted.
