Police in Lethbridge are looking into a targeted shooting that happened in a north side alley early Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to reports of shots fired in the alley behind Gonzo’s Gas in the 900 block of 9 Avenue N at about 2:30 a.m.
Police say multiple shots were fired at a 30-year-old man and 26-year-old woman from a vehicle but they not injured in the incident.
Police say it was a targeted shooting, related to the drug trade.
The suspects fled the scene and police say there is no evidence to suggest a further risk to members of the community.
The investigation is ongoing.
