The B.C. coroner’s office has identified a man who was killed in an avalanche in Glacier National Park on Sunday.

38-year-old Jason Chad Westbury, of Revelstoke, was killed in an avalanche that began when he was testing conditions with two other skiers.

The other skiers survived the slide.

Westbury was the second person who died in an avalanche in B.C. in two days.

A snowmobiler who was killed in a slide west of Kimberley on Saturday has not yet been identified.
