Funerals and memorial services are being planned for the five students who were murdered at a house party in the city’s northwest on Tuesday.

Josh Hunter, Zackariah Rathwell, Jordan Segura, Kaiti Perras and Lawrence Hong were stabbed to death at a party that was held to celebrate the end of the school year.

Friends, family and fellow students are grieving and memorials are growing daily at the crime scene and a number of vigils have been held over the last few days to honour the loss of five promising lives.

Memorials and services for the five are being arranged, three of which will take place on Monday in Calgary.

The following is a list of services for Kaiti Perras, Jordan Segura, and Joshua Hunter.

Kaiti Perras ~ February 5, 1991 – April 15, 2014

  • Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway's Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Sunday, April 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • A Celebration of Kaiti’s Life will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 – 40th Street S.E.) on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Colourful attire is encouraged.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Kaiti Perras – Love of Dance Scholarship Fund at the Counterpoint Dance Academy Marda Loop. Jordan Segura ~ December 17, 1991 – April 15, 2014

Joshua Hunter ~ March 22, 1991 – April 15, 2014

  • A Celebration of Josh's Life will be held at Christ Church, 3602 - 8 Street S.W., Calgary on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a gathering at the Priddis Community Hall in Priddis, AB.

Zackariah Rathwell ~ August 4, 1992 - April 15, 2014

  • Memorial Service will be held at Centre Street Church, 3900 2 St. N.E., on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
  • In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zackariah James Rathwell Trust Fund at any RBC location. Donations will establish a scholarship to help students pursue their dreams in the arts.
