Calgary firefighters were called out to two fires in the Marlborough area on Tuesday night.

Crews responded to a home on Marbank Way NE at about 10:15 p.m. for reports of a fire. They were able to knock it down quickly and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were called to another incident in the area and found a shed and fence on fire at a residence on Marpole Place NE.  Crews were able to keep the fire contained and there was no damage to any other structures.

This is the second time in a week that fire crews have been called to the Marbank home.

On Friday, April 1, firefighters were called to put out a fire on a wooden deck at about 2:00 a.m.

Three people were home at the time and managed to get out of the residence before crews arrived.

The fires are under investigation.
