Building high pressure across the southern prairies will give us sunshine and higher temperatures until Sunday. The high isn't going to stick around, and as it moves east Saturday night, we will be placed back into a cooler weather pattern. Showers and thunderstorms can be expected as the pattern changes on Sunday. Next week remains cooler than average, though we shuold see quite a bit of sun.
