A 10-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car on Saturday afternoon in the village of Barnwell near Taber.
The boy was on his bicycle when he was hit. He was taken to a local hospital and then transported by STARS Air Ambulance to Calgary where he passed away.
The incident is under investigation but no charges are pending. The name of the victim is not being released.
